Cosplay (コスプレ), short for "costume play", is both a hobby and a type of performance art whose participants outfit themselves, with costumes and accessories to resemble their favorite Anime, Manga, Comic or Movie character.

In Singapore, cosplay has grown in popularity over the years and more cosplay events such as this are held every year.
