KK Women's and Children's Hospital Singapore's population stands at just over 4.5 million people with an average male to female birth ratio of 1.08:1 (2008) Over 45,000 babies are born each year. Of that amount, approximately 1/3 of them are born here at Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital, better known among the locals simply as KK Hospital. These babies are all less than a day old. Most of the them are spending time with their mothers but we are fortunate to catch a few still here in the nursery. Visit their website: |
