Lau Pa Sat (Telok Ayer Market)
Lau Pa Sat is the largest remaining Victorian filigree cast-iron structure in Southeast Asia.
It was built in 1894 and is located in Singapore's business district. The former wet market has been fully renovated and restored and is now a food centre offering a wide variety of local food. The place is usually packed at lunchtime during weekdays.
