Popiah
It is a Hokkien/Chaozhou style spring roll. A popiah "skin" is a thin paper-like crepe made from flour. Inside it, sweet sauce and steamed or stir-fried fillings make it a tasty side dish or mid day snack.
You Tiao
It is also known as You Char Kway (Oily Fried Devil) . It is a Chinese cruller (fried bread stick). It's a long, golden brown, deep fried strip of dough and is usually eaten for breakfast. You Tiao are lightly salted eaten as an accompaniment for rice congee, soy milk and coffee.
Stalls like this can be found all over Singapore. This particular branch produces tasty Popiah and You Tiao that are eaten by many of the residents living near the area.
