Don't Dump Animals

In 2007, half of the dogs taken in were pedigree. This shows that owners were not ready for the commitment of owning a dog.

The SPCA hopes that more care and thought will go into the ownership of an animal - it is a lifetime of commitment, not to be entered into lightly. It is better to deprive yourself of owning a pet, than to discard it when you don't have the time to look after it.

Look at this VR and imagine for a moment that you are the unwanted dog. A pet is a living creature that does not deserve to be dumped like unwanted rubbish.

We are on the corner of Mount Vernon and Bartley Roads and next to Maris Stella High School.

The nearest MRT station is Bartley. Bus 28 from either Toa Payoh or Paya Lebar MRT station will get you here as well. Alternatively, you can take Bus 158 from Serangoon Bus Interchange.

Bartley Road also has bus nos. 93, 158, 28 that stop near the Mount Vernon Road entrance.

Office: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

Adoption shelter:

• Monday to Wednesday from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
• Fridays the shelter is open from 10.00am-4.00pm
• Saturdays from 10.00am-4.00pm.
• Sundays and Public Holidays from 11.00am to 3.30pm.
• The adoption shelter is closed on Thursdays (unless it is a Public Holiday when we will remain open)
